ABOUT

The Buckeye Quarter Midget Club has been in existence for over 60 years.  Our facility is located on the former grounds of the Columbus Motor Speedway.  We could not have been in existence for so long without the support and generosity of the Nuckles family.  In 2016, the City of Obetz (OH) purchased the Columbus Motor Speedway property and is currently turning it into a professional and youth sports complex.  We are excited to be a part of Obetz for years to come.

Our track is 1/20th of a mile and is a USAC Sanctioned club.  BQMRA is a member of the Midwest Thunder Quarter Midget Racing Series which houses 9 separate quarter midget clubs from Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.  Our club is responsible for overseeing local club races, along with regional and national events.  In addition to our outdoor events, the Buckeye club has also been privileged to host the annual Columbus Indoor Winternational Racing Series held each winter at the Ohio State Fairgrounds.
