2018/2019 Buckeye Indoor Winternational Information Released
The Buckeye Quarter Midget Racing Association is proud to announce the first wave of information related to its 62nd annual Indoor Winternational Series. Once again, the series will be held in the O'Neill Building on the grounds of the Ohio State Fairgrounds.
The six dates for the 2018/2019 series are as follows:
November 17, 2018
December 1, 2018
January 12, 2019
January 26, 2019
February 9, 2019
February, 23, 2019
As in the past, there will be points awarded each individual race and class champions will be crowned at the end of the February 23rd event. In order to be eligible for championship points, you must run five (5) out of the six (6) races and drivers will be allowed one (1) drop.
Tire guidelines have also been set. Hoosier D30 or A35 NY1 right side are the only approved compounds that will be allowed for the first three (3) races: November 17, December 1 & January 12.
Hoosier A35 NY1 right side ONLY for the last three (3) races: January 26, February 9 & February 23.
Left side tires must be a currently manufactured tire by Hoosier. Any compound and size may be used on the left side. (Appendix 1-2016 USAC Rulebook)
New for this year, Rookies only may elect to use Hoosier D30 right side tires for all six (6) Winternational Indoor races if they choose. Any car in any competitive class MUST obey tire rules listed above.
